"Gründungssprint" by Zeitfracht GmbH: Succession and start-up seminar for three future bookshop owners under professional guidance was a success / Next edition planned for March next year

Erfurt, December 5, 2022

Anyone who takes over a company or founds a new one in turbulent times needs a good business idea, determination and plenty of support: in Zeitfracht's first "start-up sprint" over the past few weeks, the media logistics specialist has provided professional and intensive guidance to the first three female founders of new bookshops with a hybrid concept specifically geared towards this target group. This seminar has just ended and the three founders and successors are proud of the business models they presented to the jury in the pitch.

The members of the jury contributed additional suggestions: In addition to Ellen Braun, they included Susanne Sturm from the Erfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Thomas Raff, spokesman for the management of Zeitfracht GmbH. Ellen Braun was the perfect companion for the three new entrepreneurs in the Zeitfracht coaching: she worked in the book trade and in publishing for many years before setting up her own consultancy business. Now, with her work&feelgood - Institute for Workstyle, she offers advice, coaching and innovative learning concepts, which also aim to support start-ups, for example. So there was a lot to learn from the networker and industry consultant.

In their individual intensive coaching sessions, the three future businesswomen spent weeks developing a viable business concept: Since the end of September, the three have been analyzing and developing the most important building blocks for taking over or setting up a bookshop. For example, they asked themselves what the future clientele would look like, how to buy efficiently and how to market their bookshop well online and in social media.

Thomas Raff: "We at Zeitfracht are delighted to have been able to provide such close and intensive support for the founding of a bookshop. During the presentation of the concepts, we were very impressed by how creatively and motivated the three seminar participants approached their future task. This showed us once again that the bookshops provide advice at a very high level and that the key to a successful business is an intensive customer relationship. Not only the three participants learned a lot, but also the Zeitfracht team. We are therefore very much looking forward to the next edition of the start-up sprint next year."

The start-up seminar was accompanied by the Buch&Co. team Kim Rolle and Anastasia Schmalko from Zeitfracht. The next start-up sprint will start in March 2023, and applications with a letter of motivation can already be submitted to gruendung-nachfolge@zeitfracht.de.
