Sprinting to your own bookshop: Zeitfracht supports founders and successors with a new concept

Stuttgart, August 11, 2022

Zeitfracht is launching a new concept with the start-up sprint and will be supporting entrepreneurs in setting up or taking over a bookshop from September. Within eight weeks, booksellers can plan and develop their entry into entrepreneurship.

"Setting up a new bookshop or taking on a successor is a complex undertaking. It is a matter close to our hearts to support committed entrepreneurs on this path with our expertise. New owner-managed bookshops enrich the book industry and ensure greater diversity," says Thomas Raff, member of the Zeitfracht Group Executive Board and spokesman for the Zeitfracht GmbH management team.

The seminars and agile learning units are led by learning coach and industry consultant Ellen Braun. Participants work out their individual start-up goals and prepare a business pitch. "Successful bookshops need structure, a good network and a business plan. Our aim is for all entrepreneurs to be able to take off after eight weeks. It's not just the speed, but also the exchange of experiences and mutual feedback that make the sprint so valuable and special," says Ellen Braun. The trainer forms a learning team together with the trainees. In order to optimally prepare the participants, everyone also receives individual coaching on their individual goal.

As the number of participants is limited, interested parties can apply by sending a letter of motivation to gruendung-nachfolge@zeitfracht.de. More information can be found on the Zeitfracht GmbH website.
