Publishing delivery of Zeitfracht Medien GmbH with several new additions in the coming year 2024

Erfurt, December 21, 2023 - Zeitfracht Medien GmbH is successfully expanding its market position in publishing delivery with three new publishing houses in the coming year: From January 1, 2024, the three publishing houses of Murmann Publishers GmbH will be delivered via Zeitfracht Medien GmbH. Murmann, Wachholtz and Kursbuch Kulturstiftung publish high-quality books in terms of content and feel, which provide constructive blueprints for a sustainable and digital future at the interface between business and society. The publishers move from LKG (Leipziger Kommissions- und Großbuchhandelsgesellschaft mbH) to Zeitfracht Medien GmbH.

As of February 1, 2024, the renowned science publisher Wiley-VCH GmbH, based in Weinheim, Germany, will complement the broad publishing spectrum of Zeitfracht Medien GmbH. The publishing house with a focus on the natural sciences is part of the global publishing group John Wiley & Sons, Inc. based in Hoboken, New Jersey/USA. So far, it has been supplying the German-speaking market from Great Britain. With this partner, Zeitfracht Medien GmbH is expanding its cooperation with international publishers.

On July 1, 2024, the newly founded sales company ISP Isar Sales GmbH will also be joined by the publishers of GeraNova Bruckmann Verlagshaus GmbH, thus expanding the existing portfolio of Gräfe und Unzer Verlag GmbH and its partner publishers. GeraNova Bruckmann moves from VVA/VM to Erfurt.

Thomas Raff, CEO of Zeitfracht Medien GmbH: "We are very pleased about the new additions and the trust placed in us. In our view, the publishing delivery business will continue to be one of our growth markets in the future, and the combination with the bar range offers interesting prospects for publishers. Since Brexit, Anglo-American companies such as Wiley are also increasingly looking for logistics service providers on the continent in order to be able to supply the European market without barriers and also in terms of sustainability. The central location of Zeitfracht Medien Logistik in Europe and the integrated print-on-demand connection, which is unique in the German publishing delivery world, offer the best conditions for this."
